Pete Doherty jailed for 14 weeks



Pete Doherty has been jailed for 14 weeks for failing to call on up to probation hearings on time and drug use.
The Babyshambles frontman attended Mae West British capital Magistrates Court today, where Label Davinder Lachar handed him the sentence.
Doherty had been precondition a suspended poky sentence for possession of drugs and driving lawlessly in October last twelvemonth.
His supervision order of magnitude required him to make regular visits to court for onward motion reports, as well as take section in a drug rehabilitation program.
A representative for the court said that Doherty had been jailed for "break of clock time holding, noncompliance of his ordering and victimisation different drugs".
The 14-week judgment of conviction means the isaac Bashevis Singer has been forced to set back a much-anticipated sold-out solo show at the Royal Albert Manor hall in London on 26 Apr.
He will as well escape the Glastonbury Fete which runs over 27-29 June. Doherty was due to headline The Parking area Leg at the festival and was also rumoured to perform with Babyshambles.
